Individual Therapy


My approach to treatment is heavily inspired by the teachings of Dr. Irvin Yalom, MD and Dr. Phil Stutz, MD. I aim to create a comfortable, non-judgmental, tailored therapeutic experience to help you achieve your goals. Types of therapy I most often use include but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral, Insight-Oriented, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused.


In-Person

In-person appointments are held in a quiet, comfortable environment with convenient off-street parking. The office is located inside the Abanakee Wellness Center, an historic Victorian-era house on Main Street in Warrensburg NY.

Telehealth

Telehealth appointments are conducted on your preferred device using the free HIPAA-compliant SimplePractice Telehealth App.  Earbuds or over-the-ear headphones are recommended but not required.

Short-Term Treatment Programs

Anger Management

Learn to manage your anger, stop violence or the threat thereof, enhance & diversify your skills for self-control over thoughts and actions.  This is a 12-week program using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Documentation of successful completion will be provided upon request.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP)

Improve your overall functioning and quality of life by learning effective skills for managing chronic pain. This treatment program was originally designed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and lasts approximately 12-weeks.
